- Read Chapter 6 - sections 6.1-6.5
- This reading is important as it discusses the topics we are learning in this module. These sections cover genetics terms, Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance, Punnett Squares and different types of genetic crosses. We will discuss these further in the pre-recorded lectures.

- This website includes a large database of genetic information for students. The Basic Genetics page has links to various pages that students will find useful - start on the right hand side with the Tour of Basic Genetics and continue from there.
- There are also videos and interactive elements so this will not be all reading. It will help with learning genetics and understanding the various concepts.
